Chieftains, Raiders & Pirates Battle on the Lanes

The Bellefontaine Chieftains and Benjamin Logan Raiders bowling teams battled Wednesday at TP Bowling Lanes in Bellefontaine.

The Benjamin Logan Boys Varsity Bowling team came out on top 2845-2520.

Leading the Raiders was Landon Stoodt with games of 221 and 216 for a 437 series, Jarrett Buckenroth with games of 243 and 189 for a 432 series, Dylan Stewart with games of 210 and 220 for a 430 series, Caleb Knight with games of 189 and 219 for a 408 series.

In the Varsity Baker Games, Ben Logan took 3 out of 4 from Bellefontaine.

Leading the Chiefs was Garrett Brede with games of 231 and 189 games for a series of 420, adding pins to the Chiefs was Alex Moon with games of 191 and 202 for a 393 series, Brandon Pinkerton rolled a 198 game, Paul La Follette added games of 181 and 188.

The Benjamin Logan Boys JV squad lost a close match to Bellefontaine 2060 – 2080.

Leading the Raider JV squad was Graham Studebaker with games of 210 and 147 for a 357 series, and Wyatt Levan bowled a personal high game of 163 and 135 for a 298 series.

The high roller for the JV Chiefs was Eli Stone with games of 199 and 155 for a series of 354, Truman Howell added a 190 game, and Colton Wisner added an 189 game.

In the JV Baker Games, Ben Logan and Bellefontaine split, each winning 2 games.

The Ben Logan Boys Varsity & JV teams will be in action again next Wednesday at TP Lanes vs North Union. The first strike will fall at 4:00 PM.

The Chiefs are back in action at TP Lanes Friday against Springfield Shawnee.

 

The Lady Raiders Varsity fell to Bellefontaine 1889 to 2487.

Maddy Hamm led the Raiders with games of 139 and 186 for a 325 series, Hunter McColloch rolled games of 173 and 137 for a 310 series, and Lorali Klopfenstein was consistent with games of 144 and 146 for a 290 series.

The leading scorer for the Chiefs was Gracie Hood with games 210 and 257 for a 467 series, Chloe Heminger added a 211 game for a 368 series, Haylee Yelton rolled games 184 and 181 for a 365 series, Haylee Rutherford added 169 game 324 series, and Avery Mullins added a 159 game.

JV Raiders won against Bellefontaine in a 4-man team for each team, 1618 to 1342.

For the Raiders Jacey Koehler rolled games of 178 and 140 for a 318 series,  Kaydon Wilber rolled a 141 game, and Ahlynn Johnston chipped in a 137 game.

Kinzie Bernard scored a 126 game, Isabelle Gunnett a 126, and Skybree Knotts added a 124 game for the Chiefs.

 

Riverside hosted Fairbanks Wednesday at TP lanes in a varsity boys and girls match.

The girls bowled two individual games and four Baker games and Fairbanks came away with the win 2188-1741.

For the Pirates Kyleigh Duff had a 175 game and 330 series and Kaitlyn Jackson added a 160 game.

The boys bowled two individual games and two bakers games due to time restraints and Riverside came away with the victory 2039-2026.

Leading the Pirates was freshman Cooper Crouch with a 423 series and Sam King added a 248 game.
