Monday night brought competitive action for local boys golf teams, with Riverside, Indian Lake, and Urbana all in the spotlight.
The Riverside Boys Golf team faced Milton Union at Cherokee Hills.
After counting the four lowest scores, the match was tied at 190-190.
The outcome was decided by a fifth-score tiebreaker, which Milton Union narrowly won.
Riverside’s Hayden McCully earned medalist honors with a 42, while Hayden Sanford and Syler Clark each shot 47.
Zane Armbruster finished with a 61, and David Gross 66.
Indian Lake Boys Golf also competed Monday, falling to Botkins 143-177.
Jaxon Snipes led the Lakers with a 42, followed by Cooper Hall and Crew McPherson at 44 each.
Joe Cummins and Jesse Carder shot 47, and Kade Richardson finished with a 51.
Treg Meyer of Botkins claimed medalist honors with a 33.
Indian Lake is scheduled to play at Prairie View against Graham on Tuesday evening.
At Urbana, the UHS Boys Golf team defeated Bellefontaine 194-200.
Ryland Davis led the way with a 41, Jackson DeWitt shot 45, Pryce Bass 50 with three points, Kelton McClain 56 with one point, and Lane Varney 72.
Bellefontaine boys golf lost to Urbana 192-201 on Monday at Urbana Country Club.
Collen Brugler and Kyle Boop each carded a 48, Noah Smith 49, Cody Hudson 55, Christian Sterling 62, and Landon Severt 68.
The boys hope to rebound on Thursday at Kenton Ridge.
