Despite a record-breaking performance by Riverside Pirate Cooper Crouch, Riverside fell to the visiting Mechanicsburg Indians at TP Lanes Friday night, 2721-2468. Crouch broke the Riverside high school two-game series record with a 568 series and the single-high-game record with a perfect 300 game. He also became the highest two-game series bowled in a high school match at TP lanes and the youngest to ever throw a 300 game at TP lanes.
The JV game went to Mechanicsburg with Jackson Linet leading the Pirates with a 196 game.
Bellefontaine Chiefs hosted Kenton Ridge Friday night at TP Lanes. Chiefs came up short, 3039-2572. Alex Moon scored high for the Chiefs with 205, and 220 for a series of 425. Alex Williams added 193, and 225 for a series of 418. David Allen rolled in an 182, 190 for a 372 series. They rolled a 229 baker.
JV also came up short by 2223 to 2095. Leading the JV was Brandon Pinkerton’s game of 177, 226 for a series of 403. Timmy Phillips added 186 games.
The BHS Boys bowling teams are hosting a tournament, on Monday at TP Lanes at 10:00.

Leading the Lady Chieftains was Chloe Heminger with games of 200, 269 for a 469 series, Gracie Hood bowled 223, 211 for 434 series, Haylee Yelton 162, 229 for a 391 series, Avery Mullins 170, 181 giving her a 351 series, Nevaeh LaFollette rolled 151,191 for a 342 series.
The Lady Chiefs are now 11-1 in the CBC going into a Columbus Square Bowling Palace tournament on Saturday.
