Tuesday night featured a full slate of basketball action across the area, highlighted by a dominant road victory by Urbana over Graham and Bellefontaine’s CBC road win at North Union.
West Liberty-Salem fell by only a single point, while several JV and middle school teams were also in action as conference play and non-league matchups continued around the region.
Urbana 67, Graham 33
Urbana set the tone early Tuesday night with a first-half barrage and never looked back, rolling to a dominant 67–33 road victory over Graham.
The Hillclimbers jumped out to a 23–7 lead after the first quarter and extended the advantage to 45–16 by halftime, as sophomore Drew Dixon poured in 12 first-half points.
The second quarter surge was highlighted by senior Brody Donahoe, who scored 11 points in the period and knocked down three three-pointers.
Urbana forced a running clock in the second half and cruised to the win, finishing the night with nine made three-pointers as a team.
HIGHLIGHTS
Dixon led the Hillclimbers with 19 points, followed by Donahoe with 14.
Kaden Underwood added 10 points, while Grady Lantz scored eight.
Case Teepe finished with six points, Damion Moss and Gio Rube each added four, and Mekhi Peterson chipped in two.
Graham was led by Brody Jenkins with 14 points.
Jack Traylor scored seven, Zach Estep added five, and Iziah Smith, Cyrus Reneer, and Lucas Stoner each finished with two.
Logan Whittman rounded out the scoring with one point on a free throw as time expired.

The Urbana JV Hillclimbers completed the sweep with a convincing 42–23 win over Graham. Braxten Spriggs led the way with 20 points.
In the freshmen contest, Urbana picked up a 41–27 victory against Graham behind a 21-point performance from Tate Lantz.
Bellefontaine 50, North Union 37
Bellefontaine picked up a solid Central Buckeye Conference win Tuesday night on the road, defeating North Union 50–37.
The Chiefs were balanced offensively, with three players finishing in double figures.
Patrick Stolly led the way with 17 points, while Grayson Lotts added 11 and Jamison Clement chipped in 10.
The win improves Bellefontaine to 5–6 on the season, while North Union drops to 2–5.
North Union was paced by Nickolas Hajjar with 13 points and Max White with 11.
At the junior varsity level, Bellefontaine earned a 43–36 win.
AJ Conaway scored 11 points, and Reign St. Clair added nine for the Chiefs.
In the freshmen contest, North Union came away with a 55–27 victory.
Zavion Perez led Bellefontaine with eight points.
The Chiefs return to action Friday night at home against Jonathan Alder.
Kenton Ridge 71, Benjamin Logan 53
The Benjamin Logan Raiders ran into a strong Kenton Ridge team Tuesday night and fell by a final score of 71–53.
Maddox Vermillion led the Raiders with 16 points and two blocks.
Carter Fay finished with 11 points, three rebounds, and three steals, while Peyton Vermillion added eight points, six rebounds, and three blocks.
Christian Rogan contributed seven points, three rebounds, and four assists, and Roman Maxwell scored six.
In the JV game, the Raiders dropped a 39–28 decision.
Micah Gregg scored 10 points, and Caden Powell added six.
The JVB Raiders picked up a win, defeating Kenton Ridge 49–36.
Gregg led the way with 18 points, while Gabe Predmore added 14.
Cedarville 63, West Liberty-Salem 62
West Liberty-Salem’s varsity team came up just short Tuesday night, falling 63–62 to Cedarville.
The loss drops the Tigers to 7–3 overall and 5–2 in the OHC.
Brevin Louden led all scorers with 21 points, followed by Troy Christison with 14 and Sutton Wilcoxon with 10.
Carson Poppe scored eight, Brandel Sullivan added seven, and Sam Strapp finished with two.
The JVA Tigers continued their strong season with a convincing 59–32 win, improving to 9–1.
Connor Leichty led the way with 20 points, while Casey Boyer scored 11 and Liam Barger added nine.
In the JVB contest, West Liberty-Salem fell to Cedarville 46–36.
Austin Markin scored 15 points, and Tyler Hershberger added 10.
West Liberty-Salem is back on the road Friday night at West Jefferson.
Miami East 69, Riverside 57
Riverside battled on the road Tuesday night but ultimately fell 69–57 to Miami East.
The Pirates were led offensively by Hayden Sanford, who scored a team-high 15 points. Blaine Shoe followed with 13 points, while Brody Orsborne added 12 in the loss.
Indian Lake 76, London 64
The Indian Lake Varsity Boys Basketball Team used a balanced scoring attack to earn a home CBC crossover victory over the London Red Raiders Tuesday night, winning 76–64.
The game was tight through the first half, with the Lakers trailing by one point at the break. Coming out of halftime, Indian Lake turned up the defensive pressure and controlled the boards, pulling away to build a commanding second-half lead.
Five Lakers scored in double figures, led by Tyler Tidwell and Brodey Reisinger with 18 points apiece. Cooper Hall finished with 15 points, Avery Pequignot added 14, and Brady Golliday chipped in 11 in the victory.
At the junior varsity level, Indian Lake rallied from behind to force two overtimes in a back-and-forth contest, but London ultimately edged the Lakers 58–56. Rush Hurley led the JV Lakers with 21 points, while Reed Strayer contributed 15.
Indian Lake returns to the home court Friday night against Ben Logan. The Varsity Girls will tip off at 6 p.m., followed by the Varsity Boys at approximately 7:30 p.m. The JV Boys game with Ben Logan will be played at a later date.
Indian Lake 8th Grade Boys Extend Win Streak
The Indian Lake Middle School 8th-grade boys basketball team pushed its winning streak to seven games with a 39–32 road victory over Anna on Tuesday night. The Lakers now stand at 7–2 on the season.
Mason Berg led all scorers with 12 points, while Brady Jackson followed with 11, including three made three-point shots. Miller Hall and Colt Volbrecht rounded out the scoring with eight points each.
The ILMS 7th-grade boys fell to Anna by a final score of 52–18, with turnovers proving costly throughout the game. Logan Kuhlke and Ross Tidwell each scored five points, Calin Headings knocked down a three-pointer, Hudson Titus and Ian Schwarz added two points apiece, and Eli Kinson recorded a free throw.
The ILMS Lakers are back in action Thursday night at North Union.
