The Chieftain Girls Tennis team traveled to Springfield High School on Monday night and declawed the Wildcats 3-2 in the varsity match.
Both Chieftain doubles teams were dominant against the Wildcats. Second singles player Olivia Warye played for over two and a half hours to seal the victory for the Chiefs. Warye trailed 1 set early in the match but battled back to win in three sets. Warye showed great determination and grit tonight in her victory. Oriana Vasquez saw her first varsity action of the year at third singles and played well.

The junior varsity Chiefs fell in the match with the Wildcats.

The Chiefs move to 4-3 overall.
