East Liberty-Middleburg put together a complete performance Thursday night, rolling to a 15-0 victory over Quincy to win the 2026 Logan County Pony League Championship.
ELM wasted no time taking control, scoring four runs in the first inning. Liam Elsasser started the scoring with a two-run double before Kaden Stevens added a two-run single to make it 4-0.
The lead grew to 6-0 in the second inning on RBI hit-by-pitches by Elsasser and Stevens.
ELM broke the game open in the third. Mason Bailey launched a solo home run to left field, Ashe Moorhouse delivered a two-run single, and Stevens added another RBI single as the lead swelled to 10-0.
ELM closed out the scoring with five runs in the fourth inning. Scottie Stevenson doubled home two runs before Moorhouse capped his big night with a two-run double.
Moorhouse led the offense by going 3-for-3 with four RBIs, while Roman Williams also collected three hits. Stevenson finished with two hits, Bailey homered, and Elsasser and Stevens each drove in multiple runs.
Moorhouse was equally impressive on the mound, allowing just two hits over four shutout innings while striking out nine and walking one.
ELM finished with 14 hits, six walks, nine stolen bases, and did not commit an error, completing a dominant championship performance from start to finish.
