High school sports fans across Logan and Champaign counties will have plenty to look forward to this fall as Peak of Ohio releases its 2026 football and volleyball broadcast schedules.
The football lineup features the Logan County Game of the Week on 98.3 WPKO, the Champaign County Game of the Week on 106.9 The Bull, and Bellefontaine Chieftain football on 107.3 The Drive. Peak of Ohio TV will also bring fans live volleyball coverage featuring area programs throughout the season.

Logan County Game of the Week
98.3 WPKO will once again feature the Logan County Game of the Week, showcasing some of the biggest football matchups involving teams from around the county.
One team to watch closely this season is Indian Lake, which enters the year with plenty of returning production after making a run to the Division V State Final Four last season. The Lakers will be led by head coach John Rapp, and expectations will be high as they look to build on last year’s postseason success.
Benjamin Logan is another team with plenty of potential. The Raiders return one of the best kickers in the state and have the pieces to make things interesting on a weekly basis. With the ability to turn field position and special teams into an advantage, Benjamin Logan could be a dangerous matchup throughout the season.
West Liberty-Salem is also looking to make another deep postseason run. The Tigers reached the Division V State Final Four in 2024 and will try to get back to that level under second-year head coach Brad Jarzab.
The Logan County Game of the Week will put those teams and others in the spotlight throughout the fall.

Champaign County Game of the Week
Over on 106.9 The Bull and AM 1390 WBLL, the focus will be on the Champaign County Game of the Week, featuring some of the county’s top programs and most competitive matchups.
Urbana enters the season with plenty of returning talent and a new voice leading the program. First-year head coach Geron Stokes takes over the Hillclimbers and returns to the community where he played college football. With returning players and a new coaching staff, Urbana will be one of the teams to keep an eye on this season.
Graham was one of the surprise teams in the area last year, and the Falcons have plenty of reasons for optimism heading into 2026. With many of the pieces from last year’s team returning, Graham will look to turn that breakout season into an even deeper postseason run.
Mechanicsburg continues to be one of the perennial powers in the Ohio Heritage Conference. The Indians will once again have their sights set on making a deep postseason run and finally breaking through to the next level.

Bellefontaine Chieftains
107.3 The Drive remains the home of Bellefontaine Chieftain football, bringing fans every game throughout the 2026 season. The Chieftains are looking to bounce back after falling short of the playoffs last season and face a challenging schedule.
The schedule features rivalry matchups with Sidney and Urbana, tough road trips to London and Indian Lake, along with many other compelling matchups throughout the season.
With plenty of competition ahead, the Chieftains will look to put together a strong season and get back into the playoff picture.

PeakofOhioTV Exclusive Football Games
In addition to the Logan County and Champaign County Games of the Week, PeakofOhioTV will broadcast five exclusive football games during the 2026 high school football season.
These games will give fans an additional opportunity to watch area teams live, with the broadcasts available on PeakofOhioTV and the Peak of Ohio Roku channel.
The exclusive broadcasts add another layer to Peak of Ohio’s coverage of local high school football and will feature several highly anticipated matchups throughout the season.

Peak of Ohio TV — 2026 Volleyball
Peak of Ohio TV and Roku will also have fans covered on the volleyball court with a schedule featuring all 10 area Logan and Champaign County teams throughout the season.
The schedule brings together established programs, teams entering new eras and several schools with new head coaches looking to make their mark. That should create plenty of intriguing storylines and competitive matchups throughout the 2026 season.
With teams facing a mix of conference and non-conference opponents, viewers will have the opportunity to watch local programs test themselves against quality competition from across the area.
Volleyball coverage begins in August and continues through October, with the potential for postseason broadcasts as well.
Pregame coverage will begin 15 minutes before the scheduled first serve.

ChalkTalk Returns for Another Season
ChalkTalk is also back for another season, bringing local athletes, coaches, cheerleaders, band members, other sports figures and more together each week to talk about area high school sports.
The original ChalkTalk will once again be broadcast live from Ron’s Pizza in Bellefontaine, with the show airing every Wednesday night from 7 to 8 p.m.
The 2026 season begins Wednesday, Aug. 19.
Introducing ChalkTalk of Champaign County
New this season, the ChalkTalk family is expanding with the addition of ChalkTalk of Champaign County.
For 13 weeks, the show will bring some of the county’s favorite athletes, coaches and other local sports figures together at Lincoln & Main in Urbana.
ChalkTalk of Champaign County will air live every Wednesday night from 7 to 8 p.m., beginning Aug. 19.
The addition gives fans in Champaign County another way to hear directly from the people who make local high school sports special.
Both ChalkTalk programs will provide fans with weekly conversations, interviews and behind-the-scenes coverage throughout the fall sports season.
