Bluffton University senior Jenna Woods has been named First Team All-Heartland Conference, marking the first time since 2020 that a Beaver has earned the honor. The Riverside High School grad has been a dominant force at the net and led the Heartland Conference with 442 kills in the regular season.
Woods’ impressive total ranks 7th all-time in Bluffton history, and with matches still to play, she’s closing in on the program’s top five. She’s also posted 121 digs, 38 blocks, and seven aces this season, while averaging 3.75 kills per set — the third-best single-season mark in school history.
A two-time All-Conference honoree, Woods now sits 9th all-time at Bluffton with 1,212 career kills, just 10 shy of moving up another spot.
Her teammate, Emma Organ, also earned recognition — landing on the Second Team All-HCAC after a stellar comeback season as the Beavers’ libero.
The Beavers ended the season 13-20 with a 2-7 record in HCAC play. On Wednesday night, they fell to the conference No. 1 seed Earlham in the HCAC Tournament in four sets. Woods had 19 kills during that match.
