The Bellefontaine Chieftains lost a CBC battle Friday night to the Red Raiders of London 41-32.
Jair Mundy was the leading scorer for the Chiefs with 14 points CJ Wilson added 9.
In JV action the Chiefs lost 52-37. AJ Conaway had 11 and Jamo Clement added 9.
In the Freshman contest the Chiefs lost 35-26 Blake Loomis was the leading score with 9 points.
The Chiefs are back in action Tuesday where they will face the Graham Falcons at home.
Friday night, the West Liberty-Salem boys varsity team defeated Springfield Catholic 56-40.
Leading the Tigers Taran Logwood netted 23 points, Miles Hostetler 13, Brevin Louden 6, Carson Poppe 5, Isaiah Reames 5, and JJ Johnson added 4 points.
The West Liberty-Salem JV team (10-1) defeated SC 61-27.
for the Tigers Sam Strapp scored 18 points, Troy Christison 14, Jake Lauck 10, Sutton Wilcoxon 9, Elijah Christison 4, Conner Leichty 2, Levi Miller 2, and JJ Johnson added 2 points to the score.
They will take on Indian Lake on Saturday, January 13th.
The Indian Lake defeated North Union at home 63-45
Leading the Lake was Caiden Nicol netting 19 points, Camdon Tuttle 12, and Brodey Reisinger scored 10 points.
For Indian Lake’s JV team, they also defeated North Union 62-51.
Cooper Hall led the Lakers scoring 19 points.

The Raiders hosted Northwestern Friday night and lost 44-34.
The team was led by Camden Spriggs with 9 points. Cayden Brown added 7 points.
The JV Raiders defeated Northwestern 38-29.
