Friday Softball Round Up: Chiefs and Tigers Win; Raiders and Pirates Fall


The Lady Chiefs played hard Friday night and beat North Union 15-6.

Pitchers Averie Vigansky and Kassi Prine had strong performances on the mound.

Alexza Clifton went 4-5 with a home run and 2 doubles which breaks the career doubles record and career RBI record.

Ellie Mitchell went 3-3 with a home run, Ava Watson 3-4 with a double, Kassi Prine 3-5, Addison Wical 2 doubles, and Rianna Fullerton and Airiana Young each added a double.

The Lady Chiefs will play again on Monday at Tecumseh.


Lady Tigers brought home a win against Springfield Catholic Central 17-2.

Brielle Milliron had 3 hits including an in-park homerun.

Olivia Reichardt also collected 3 hits while Kennedy Wallace and Audrey Collins each had 2 hits.

The Tigers play again on Monday against Cedarville.


Riverside softball team traveled to league leader and state-ranked Miami East and fell 13-0 in 5 innings.

Jaidyn Jackson had a hit on the night.

Riley Dillon suffered the loss on the mound.


Benjamin Logan lost a tough game to Jonathan Alder on Friday 11-1.

The Lady Raiders struggled offensively on the night scoring one run on one hit.

Adilynne Gregg suffered the loss on the mound.

The Lady Raiders will travel to North Union Monday, for a Mad River Division matchup.
