Girls high school and middle school basketball scores from the weekend


Girls basketball tipped off this weekend around Ohio.  Here are the local scores reported to the newsroom.

IL-Stephanie Altstaetter 17 points and 14 rebounds; Allison Kinney 12 points and 9 rebounds; Mackenzie Dixon 12 points and 5 steals; Haylee Edwards 9 points.

Coach Yasymn Inskeep said, “The girls came together and played well with great teamwork in the second half.”

In the JV game, IL outscored WG 53 to 6. Carly Strayer had 21 points and 13 rebounds, Alex Kinney had 12 points and 14 rebounds, and Kennedy Schwaderer added 10 points. For WG Cassidy Bigelow had 4 points.

Riverside: Miah Carman had 12 points, 6 rebounds; Kenna Johnson 4 points; Emilee Robinson, Layla Jordan, Madelyn Lemly each had 2 points; Keira Manahan and Emilee Robinson each had 5 rebounds.
