The Riverside Boys golf team played a strong match against Miami East at Cherokee Hills on Thursday night but came up short with a final score of 181 to 194. Despite the loss, it was a notable performance for Riverside, with Jaxon Woods emerging as the match medalist by shooting an impressive even par 36. Other standout performances included Hayden McCully with a 45, Daniel Esh with a 56, and Syler Clark, who set a personal best with a 59. The team is scheduled to play at home on Monday night, where they hope to build on their recent performance.

Riverside Girls Golf Team Edged Out by Milton-Union

In a closely contested match at Homestead Golf Course, the Riverside Girls golf team was narrowly defeated by Milton-Union, with a score of 202 to 216. Reaghan McDaniel was the top performer of the match, securing the medalist title with a score of 45. Kenna Johnson matched her personal best with a 53, while Zoie Armbruster shot a 57. Kirstyn Carpenter contributed with a 61, and Lei Hurley achieved a personal best with a 64. Adalynn Calaway completed the team’s score with a 77.

West Liberty-Salem Tigers Fall to Greeneview

The West Liberty-Salem Tigers faced a tough opponent in Greeneview on Thursday night, ultimately losing 183 to 167.
