Graham boys edge out WL-S in 1-0 contest

The West Liberty-Salem Tigers and Graham Falcons played a defensive contest, with the Falcons winning 1-0.

Defenses were heavily featured on both sides, as neither team totaled a lot of shots. Graham only recorded one shot on goal, and it found the back of the net.

The Tiger junior varsity team defeated Graham 4-3.

For the Tigers, Josiah Thoman had 2 goals, David Roberts had 1 goal, and Bo Miller tacked one on as well. Thoman, Roberts, and Miller also had 1 assist each.  Rylan Leichty recorded 1 save for WLS in goal, while Jerome Cordrey had 4 saves.

The varsity team next plays this Saturday at 2 pm at home against Franklin Monroe.  The JV plays Monday at 5:30 pm at home against Jonathan Alder.
