Graham wrestlers dominate CBC

Over the weekend, all twelve Graham wrestlers placed at the CBC boys wrestling tournament en route to earning 295.5 points and a conference championship.

Nine Falcons won championships including Jake Landis in the 113-pound class, Blaine DeMarco at 132 pounds, Cole Winemiller at 144 pounds, Jonas Mannier at 150 pounds, Brogan Tucker at 157 pounds, Kyler Crooks in the 165-pound class, Jake Hoke at 175 pounds, Chet Mannier at 190 pounds and Danny Hoke at 215 pounds.

Urbana’s Zaidan Johnson won the championship in the 285-pound class.

In the Ohio Heritage Conference, Mechanicsburg won the conference for the 17th straight year.

Cameron Runyan, Nolan Fraley, Gavin Stacy, Ronnie Thomas, and Braedon Buxton all won individual championships for the boys.

In addition, Scout Phillips won the girls championship in the 110-pound class.

Triad had four wrestlers win individual championships, Wyatt Smith, Garret Bollack, Blayk Thomas, and Awsom Mitchell.

West Liberty-Salem’s Silas Krabill won the 165-pound class.
