High school and middle school Monday basketball results

Area high school and middle school basketball teams hit the court Monday.

The Benjamin Logan varsity girls lost to Xenia 65-61.

Mia Stahler led the Lady Raiders with 18 points, Georgia Bates added 10 points, Kara Reeves had 9 points, and Mya Burrey chipped in 8 points.

Benjamin Logan moves to 3-4 on the season.

The JV Raiders beat Xenia 46-26.

For Benjamin Logan, Lahna Cook had 12 points, Adilynne Gregg added 12 points and 5 rebounds, Rylan Norviel had 8 points and 8 boards, and Tanna Jacobs tallied 4 points and 5 rebounds.

The JV Raiders improve to 4-1 on the season.

Benjamin Logan will travel to London Wednesday with the JV starting at 6:00 p.m.

The Triad varsity girls lost to Fairlawn 47-37.

For Triad, Abbey Overfield had 13 points, 4 steals, and 8 rebounds. Emma Ferguson had 11 points and 3 rebounds. Kaley Nott added 5 points. Ashlyn McCoy had 10 rebounds and 6 steals.

Triad slips to (0-5) overall and (0-2) in the OHC.

Triad plays on Wednesday against Northeastern at home (JV and Varsity). JV starts at 6:00 p.m.

The Calvary Christian varsity boys fell to Hardin Northern 52-50.

Ezra Davie led the charge for the Spartans with 14 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists.

Kaden Downey added 9 points, 1 assist, and 2 steals, Patrick James tallied 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 1 block, Evan Patton had 8 points, 2 boards, and an assist, Wyatt Schlatter chipped in with 7 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals, Ephraim Daniels recorded 4 points, 1 rebound, and an assist and Charles Krumm pulled down 4 boards.

Calvary will host East Dayton Saturday at Union Station at 7:45 p.m.

Middle School:

The Indian Lake 7th-grade girls beat Benjamin Logan 24-19.

Ava Phillips led the Lady Lakers with 10 points and Alivia Kinney chipped in with 9.

For the Raiders, Joplin Schneider led the team with 12 points with Bryleigh Burnside followed with 5 points.

In the 8th-grade game, Benjamin Logan topped Indian Lake 43-22.

For the Lakers, Courtney Altstaetter led with 14 points and Addy Roby added 8.

Kylie Harner led the Raiders with 17 points, and Molly Siefring and Elliott Butler each scored 6 points.

The Urbana 7th-grade boys beat Stivers 54-14.

Crew Forson, Landon McKellop, and Case Teepe all finished with 8 points for the Hillclimbers.

The Urbana 8th-grade boys ran past Stivers 70-10.

Giorgio Rube led the Hillclimbers with 17 points and Gio Torres tallied 9.

The West Liberty-Salem 7th-grade boys defeated Triad 41-22.

Zeke Longshore led the Tigers with 12 points, Beckett Sullivan added 9 points, Zade Bieleski netted 6 points, Owen Hardwick had 5 points, Austin Markin chipped in with 4 points, Blaine Hughes tallied 3 points, and Brayan Gullett had 2 points.

West Liberty-Salem improves to 2-0.

The 8th-grade Tigers beat Triad 44-35.

For WL-S, Sutton Wilcoxon had 10 points, 8 rebounds, and 3 steals, Troy Christison tallied 7 points and 7 assists, and Braden Hershberger recorded 8 points, 3 boards, and 3 steals.
