High school bowling results from Tuesday

Several area bowling teams were in action Tuesday.

The Riverside varsity bowling team hosted Kenton at TP Lanes Tuesday.

The Lady Pirates team defeated Kenton.

Leading the way for Riverside was Kaitlyn Jackson with a 284 series and Sarah Russell added a 152 game.

The Pirates varsity boys also beat Kenton 2,980–2,636.

Leading Riverside was Zander Crouch with a 255 game and a 469 series. Gage Stevenson fired a 235-game.

In the boys’ JV match, Kenton won 1,439 – 1,021.

For Riverside, Preston Smith had a 221 series and Jackson Linet added an 82 game.

The Graham varsity girls defeated Tecumseh 2,260–1,892.

For the Lady Falcons, they were led by Maddi Murphy who recorded a 347 series (159, 188), Grace Tyler rolled a 326 series (174, 152), Hillman Jorden tallied a 294 series (157, 137), Kailey Dowty bowled a 192 game, Ashlynn Monaghan fired a 173, Mackenzie Clark had a 166 game, and Gracie Astry rolled a 121 game.

Graham’s varsity boys rolled past Tecumseh 3,118–2,922.

For the Falcons, Peyton Schwierking led with a 501 series (222, 279), Spencer Hannahs fired a 467 series (209, 258), Ayden Tudor had a 461 series (195, 266), Daniel Evans rolled a 439 (194, 245), and Tristan Maxwell had a 410 series (246, 164).

The Urbana varsity girls beat Kenton Ridge 2,296–2,163.

For the Lady Hillclimbers, Jazmyn Scott rolled a 445 series (223, 222), Riley Smith had a 319 series (149, 170), Emily Fisher also fired a 319 series (168, 151), Lauren Turner recorded a 291 series (137, 154), Maya Stokes tallied a 130 game and Jessica Rooney rolled a 109 game.

The Urbana varsity boys team defeated Kenton Ridge 2,745–2,606.

Leading the Hillclimbers was Aydan Reisinger who fired a 500 series (235, 265).

Kaz Scott rolled a 475 (241, 234), Kohldon Belt recorded a 404 (188, 216), Draden Belt had a 335 series (154, 181), and Logan Dale tallied a 292 series (171, 121).

The West Liberty-Salem varsity bowling teams swept Northeastern.

The Lady Tigers won 1,745–1,655.

For WL-S, Alyssa Mueller 182, Lilly Gearheart 166, Elli Ullery 119, Andrea Stokes 110, Haylee Earles 109

The Tiger boys won 2,153–1,922.

Leading the way for WL-S were Eli Ullery 184, Caleb Baumgartner 174, Luke Thomas 167, Kaden Francis 141, Devon Jones 140, and Adam Jennings 136

The Tiger JV boys also won 1,613–1,259.

Alex Boyer and Evan Boregerding both led with a 130, Josiah Tidwell 125, Elijah Shafer 124 Owen King 107.

Over the weekend, the West Liberty-Salem varsity bowling teams competed in the Southwest Baker Shootout. The Lady Tigers were 10th out of 15 teams and the boys finished 12th out of 15 teams.
