High School Bowling Results: Raiders, Chieftains and Tigers

The Lady Raiders finished up their regular season with a win against Springfield Shawnee 2,010 to 1,902.

Leading for the Raiders was Maddy Hamm with games of 169/192 for a 361 series.

Lorali Klopfenstein rolled games of 142/163 for a 305 series.

Reigan Thomas had games of 164/135 for a 299 series.

The Lady Raiders are back in action in a non-league match against Riverside on Tuesday, February 6th at 4:00 pm start time.

 

The Benjamin Logan Boys Varsity Bowling team traveled to Victory Lanes in Springfield to take on Shawnee.

The Braves were victorious against the Raiders Total pinfall: Ben Logan – 2704 to Shawnee – 2734.

Leading the Raiders was Caleb Knight with games of 204, 269 – 473 series, Landon Stoodt with games of 247, 224 – 471 series, Jarrett Buckenroth with games of 180, 193 – 373 series, and Nate Davis with games of 191, 161 – 352 series. Dylan Stewart rolled an 182 game.

In the Varsity Baker Games, Ben Logan went 1-2-1.

The Varsity boys finished the regular season at 13-3.

The Benjamin Logan Boys JV squad won over Shawnee. Total pinfall for JV’s was Ben Logan – 1451 to Shawnee – 1185.

Due to lane availability, the JV squad was only allowed to bowl one conventional game.

Leading the JV squad were Graham Studebaker – 226, Hayden Godwin – 181, Paxton Henry – 156 and Wyatt Levan – 150.

The JV squad won 3 of 4 Baker Games from Shawnee.

The JV squad finished the regular season at 10-4.

The Ben Logan Boys Varsity & JV teams return to action on Friday, February 2nd at TP Lanes in a non-league match-up vs Fort Loramie.

The first strike will fall at 4:30 PM.

The Chieftain girls finished the season in style Tuesday they ended undefeated with a CBC record of 16-0.

The leading scorer was Gracie Hood with games of 212 and 190 for a 402 series.

Chloe Heminger rolled games of 226 and 170 for a 396 series, and Haylee Yelton had games of 189 and 179 for a series of 368.

Haylee Rutherford had a high game of 181 game for a 310 series and Nevaeh LaFollette added a 156 game.

The JV team bowled again with 4 bowlers and finished with a score of 1843 to Jonathan Alder’s 1465.

Isabelle Gunnett rolled games of 173 and 177 for a 350 series, and Skybree Knotts added games of 148 and 180 for a 328 series.

Kinzie Bernard had a high game of 157 for a 314 series.

 

As Chiefs rolled their last CBC match before the tournament and they came up short.

Rory Pierce was a high roller for the BHS boys bowling team with games of 191, and 215 for a 406 series.

Becket Vilaysane trail behind adding a 360 series and games of 188, 172.

Paul “Van” LaFollette added a 189 game. Alex Moon added a 182 game.

Garrett Brede added a 181 game.

Baker games consisted of 161, 205, 162. 193.

The varsity will roll in the CBC tournament at Jonathan Alder Feb. 9.

The JV boys ended their season with a win making them 12-3 for the season 1991- 2321.

Rolling his personal high game was Jacob Lynch with a 246, 162 for a series of 408.

Also rolling a personal high was Colton Wisner with games of 193, and 211 for a series of 404.

Brandon Pinkerton added a 208 game. Truman Howell, Eli Stone, Jeffrey Knotts, and Timmy Phillips help push the team to victory.

Baker games consisted of 140, 143, 169, 156.

We as coaches are very proud of the boy’s teamwork & growth.

 

The West Liberty-Salem girl’s bowling team fell to Emmanuel Christian 2083 to 1891.
