Hood, Heminger lead BHS girl’s bowling to win over Graham, Falcon boys beat Chiefs

Bellefontaine and Graham squared off Monday night in a full slate of high school bowling action, with both programs showcasing depth and strong individual performances across varsity and junior varsity competition. The evening featured competitive varsity matches and convincing JV victories for the Chiefs, highlighting a solid night on the lanes for both schools.

VARSITY GIRLS — Bellefontaine 2688, Graham 2262

The Bellefontaine girls turned in one of their strongest performances of the season, cruising past Graham behind big individual series and excellent Baker games.

Gracie Hood led the way with a standout 476 series, including a 250 game. Chloe Heminger was right behind with a 464 series, as the Chiefs built a commanding lead before adding 810 pins in Baker play.

Graham was paced by Lylee Nokes’ 409 series, but Bellefontaine’s depth proved too much to overcome.

Graham pulled away in Baker play Monday night to secure a win over Bellefontaine in a Central Buckeye Conference matchup.

The Falcons were led by a dominant performance from Logan Pitsinger, who rolled games of 246 and 214 for a 460 series. Andrew Clark followed closely with a strong 434 series, while Graham added 773 pins in Baker games to seal the victory.

Bellefontaine kept pace during individual games, led by David Allen’s 366 series and consistent scoring across the lineup. However, Graham’s edge in Baker games proved to be the difference.

The JV Bellefontaine boys picked up an impressive road win, defeating Graham by more than 170 pins.

Timmy Phillips led the Chiefs with a 394 series, rolling games of 214 and 180, while Eli Stone added a solid 189 game to help Bellefontaine pull away.
