IL tops Bellefontaine, WL-S cruises over Triad; more Wednesday girls basketball scores

The hardwood was alive on Wednesday night as local girls’ basketball teams battled fiercely in key matchups. From nail-biting finishes to dominant performances, teams like Indian Lake, West Liberty-Salem, Benjamin Logan, and others showcased skill, determination, and teamwork, giving fans plenty to cheer about.

Bellefontaine vs. Indian Lake

Indian Lake earned a hard-fought 43–37 victory over county rival Bellefontaine in a tight, physical matchup that went down to the wire.

Bellefontaine trailed by 11 at halftime but stormed back with gritty second-half play. The Lakers seized a late lead and held strong behind their top scorers.

The Ben Logan Raiders hosted the Kenton Ridge Cougars on Tuesday night for a crossover CBC matchup.

Varsity:
The Ben Logan Varsity Lady Raiders held strong down the stretch, topping Kenton Ridge 51–47 in a tense finish.

Ben Logan led 35–24 entering the fourth quarter, but Kenton Ridge surged late with a 23–16 run. The Raiders responded with clutch defense and timely scoring to seal the win.
