The Indian Lake High School girl’s soccer team defeated Springfield Shawnee 3-2 Thursday night.
The Lakers scored two goals in the first ten minutes from corner kicks.
Olivia Hurley took the corners, Mara Bihn and Callie Burba each scored.
With about 20 minutes left in the second half, Shawnee scored two goals almost back to back to tie up the game.
Callie Burba then scored again off a deflected save to put the Lakers up 3-2.
The Lake was able to hang on to that lead for the remainder of the game.
Savannah Hill recorded 12 saves in the goal for Indian Lake.
