The Indian Lake Girls Track Team took first at Milton Union with 73 points. Milton Union was second with 69 and Butler was third with 28 points.
The Indian Lake Boys finished third with 33 points. Butler won with 71 points and Milton Union was second with 65 points.
Coach Metzger says that they split the team and went to two different meets on Tuesday. It was great to see the athletes compete well in their respective events.
Placing first for the girls was Elayna Richardson in the 100 m dash (12.7) and 200 m dash (26.2), Stephanie Altstaetter in shot put (34-2), Meadow McCullough in high jump (4-8), KaiLea Miller in the 1600 m run (6:07), Reece Martin in the 300 m hurdles (50.1), and the 4×800 relay team of Kailea Miller, Hannah Metzger, Maggie Reese and Makayla Motter (13:17).
Placing second was Reece Martin the 100 m hurdles (16.5), Stephanie Altstaetter in discus (95-8), Grace Pequignot in shot put (32-2), Hannah Metzger in the 1600 m run (6:33), KaiLea Miller in the 800 m run (2:50), Makayla Motter in the 3200 m run (16:17), the 4×200 relay team of Regan Ross, Meadow McCullough, Gillian Taylor and Ashlyn Biederman (2:04) the 4×100 relay team of Grace Pequignot, Regan Ross, Maria Pineda Box and Meadow McCullough (1:00), and the 4×400 relay team of Reece Martin, Elayna Richardson, Ashlynn Biederman and KaiLea Miller (4:29).
Placing third was Maggie Reese in the 3200 m run (17:33), Regan Ross in discus (88-3) and shot put (27-11.75), and Marah Reames in high jump (4-6).
Placing fourth was Ashlynn Biederman in the 300 m hurdles (59.7), Metzger in the 800 m run (3:05), and Grace Pequignot in discus (84-0).
Placing first for the boys was Grant McPherson in the 1600 m run (5:03).
Placing second was Brant Parsell in the 110 m hurdles and 300 m hurdles (43.2), Brody Parsell in the pole vault (10-0), Stephens Spofford in shot put (32-6.5), the 4×400 relay team of Tony Cummins, Grant McPherson, Brant Parsell and Brody Parsell (3:50).
Placing third was Ryan Culp in the pole vault (9-6), Charles Sickles-Sposa in discus (96-5), Logan Duncan in shot put (32-4), and the 4×200 relay team of Caiden Gauntt, Cameron Freyhof, Jacob Freyhof, and Ryan Culp (1:42)
Finishing fourth was Tony Cummins in the 1600 m run (5:17), Isaac Morrison in long jump (16-3) and high jump (5-4), and Jacob Freyhof and Vince Wilson tied in pole vault (8-0).
The West Liberty-Salem Middle School Track competed at the Triad on Monday in the OHC North Meet.
The girls finished 1st out of 6 teams scoring 113 points.
