The ILHS Boys Golf Team showed great determination in the heat during a multi-team tournament at Urbana Country Club on Monday.
Jaxon Snipes led the team with a score of 89 over 18 holes, followed closely by Joe Cummins with a 93 and Kahne Ferguson, who shot a 94.
The Lakers will return to the course on Thursday at Liberty Hills for their next match.
