ILHS competed at the Vandalia Butler Invitational Friday night, capping off an amazing week of competition!
Huge congrats to Maddie Miller, who not only placed 1st in discus but also broke her school record with an impressive throw of 121-7.
The Lakers girls finished 5th out of 16 teams.

Placing second was Ava Faler in the high jump (5-0) and Addison Beck in the long jump (15-8.5).
Scoring fourth was Addison Beck in the 200 m dash (27.6) and Ava Faler in the long jump (15-2.5).
Scoring fifth was the 4×800 relay team of Reagan Rash, Evie Wagner, Alicia Brielmaier and Haley Metzger (11:20), Addison Beck in the 100 m dash (13.67), and Maddie Miller in shot put (33-0.5), and the 4×400 relay team of Reagan Rash, Myiah Ankrom, Cameron Finfrock and Ava Faler (4:30).
Scoring sixth was Reagan Rash in the 800 m run (2:29) and the 4×100 field events relay team of Shannon Brunson, Terra Beltz, Maddie Miller, and Cambrie Warnecke (1:09).
Scoring seventh was Terra Beltz in shot put (30-4.5 PR).
Scoring eighth was Addison Beck in the high jump (4-8).

Placing first was Franklin Kinney in discus (134-3 PR).
Placing second was Christopher Timms in the shot put (50-10).
Placing third was Gavin Henry in the 300 m hurdles (42.35 PR) and the 4×100 field events relay team of Franklin Kinney, Will Faler, Colin Bendler, and Wyatt Whitsett (51.27)
Scoring fourth was the 4×100 relay team of Quest Clay, Drake Cosby, Gavin Henry, and Noah Shirk (45.07)
Scoring fifth was the 4×200 relay team of Silas Holbrook, Drake Cosby, Cameron Freyhof, and Jacob Freyhof (1:34.87), and Christopher Timms in discus (119-3).
Scoring sixth was Gavin Henry in the 110 m hurdles (17.65) and the 4×400 relay team of Carson Clary, Noah Shirk, Bryan Mohler, and Drake Cosby (3:39.3).
Scoring seventh was Bryan Mohler in the 400 m dash (53.31 PR), the 4×800 relay team of Carson Clary, Silas Holbrook, Aiden Stinebaugh, and Cason Lacher (9:10), and Noah Shirk in the 300 m hurdles (44.55).
Scoring eighth was Noah Shirk in the 110 m hurdles (17.76), Quest Clay in the 100 m dash (11.96), and long jump (19-1.25).
