The Indian Lake Middle School girl’s cross country team kicked off their season at the Benjamin Logan Early Bird Invitational on Tuesday night.
Laura Metzger led the team with a 20th-place finish and a time of 17:14.
Karlee Taylor finished in 35th place with a time of 21:29.
Emma Taylor raced to a 36th place finish and a time of 21:57.
Makenzie Motter finished in 40th place with a time of 27:55.
The girls will run next Saturday morning at the Milton Union Invitational.
The Benjamin Logan girl’s team came away with fourth place overall.
Leading the team was Lottie Bodin in 3rd place in a field of 41 runners with a time of 15:07.
Rounding out the scoring was Cielo Wilcox 26th, Montana Ramsey 29th, and Mia Ortiz 30th.
In the boy’s race, Benjamin Logan’s Greyson Butler led the Raiders placing 18th of 36 runners.
Butler was followed by Logan Watkins, Miles Granbois, and Ezra Ramsey.
The Raiders are back in action Saturday at the Northwestern Invitational.
