Indian, Hillclimber bowlers fight hard at Girls’ State Tournament

2026 OHSAA State Bowling Tournament — Girls Division II

Ohio’s top Division II girls bowling programs converged on HP Lanes for the 2026 OHSAA State Tournament, with both Mechanicsburg and Urbana representing the area on the state’s biggest stage. Strong team performances and solid individual efforts highlighted a competitive field from start to finish.

Mechanicsburg wrapped up the tournament with a seventh-place finish, earning a spot in bracket play before seeing its season come to an end in the quarterfinal round against eventual state champion Napoleon High School. Urbana stayed in contention throughout qualifying and finished tenth overall, narrowly missing the cut for bracket play by just 58 pins.

Both programs closed out their seasons with state-level performances to be proud of, capping off strong runs and representing their schools well on the lanes in Columbus.
