Indian Lake 12U softball team, sponsored by Steve Austin’s Auto Group, closed out their season to win the Logan County Silver Bracket Championship on Friday night by defeating Rushsylvania 14-6.
Preslie Roberts and Kayla Tracey split 7 innings on the mound, striking out 12 in their joint effort.
Caleigh Hamilton-Hoy worked hard and did a great job behind the plate.
Offensively, the bats were hot for Indian Lake as they collected 9 hits in the game.
Caleigh Hamilton-Hoy went 3-4 with a triple, double, and a single.
Kayla Tracey went 2-4 with a 2-RBI double and a single.
Harper Welch, Preslie Roberts, Lillie Henderson, and Kaylee Hurley also each collected hits on the night.
With aggressive base running from all the girls, the Lakers were able to capture key moments on the base paths, which also helped lead them to the victory.
