Indian Lake and Bellefontaine Ladies Triumphant;West Liberty-Salem and Riverside Fall

The Benjamin Logan Softball team hosted Graham on Tuesday night.

The two teams finished a previously postponed game first followed by a full 7-inning game.

In the first game, the Lady Raiders won 4-2.

Libby Siefring and Sidney Sallee each doubled and had an RBI, and Brooks Myers singled and scored two runs.

Keeli Rostorfer added a hit.

Adilynne Gregg earned the win on the mound tallying five strikeouts.

In the second game, the Lady Raiders won 6-2.  Tanna Jacobs went 2-2 with a home run and an RBI.

Kyndal Cronkleton had two hits including a double and 2 RBIs, and Bailee Stover doubled and singled.

Chloe Crumm earned the win in Game 2 striking out 9.

The Lady Raiders will travel to Northwestern on Wednesday.  The first pitch will be thrown at 5:15 pm.

 

The Indian Lake Lakers were triumphant over North Union 5-2 on Tuesday.

The Lakers got on the board in the bottom of the third inning after North Union committed an error, and Halle Roby hit a sacrifice fly, each scoring one run.

The Lake took the Lead in the bottom of the fourth. Haylee Edwards hit into a double play, but one run scored, to give the Lakers the edge 3-2.

Madison Brentlinger led things off in the circle for the Lakers.

The righty surrendered eight hits and two runs over seven innings, striking out one and walking two.

Edwards and Abigail Elliott each collected two hits for the Lake.

Roby, Edwards, Elliott, Brentlinger, and Mackenzie Dixon each drove in one run.

Indian Lake had patience at the plate, amassing five walks in the game.

Brentlinger and Kayleigh Zedlitz led the team with two free passes each.

Brentlinger stole two bases. Indian Lake turned two double plays on the game.

The Lakers will travel to Graham on Wednesday.

The West Liberty-Salem Tiger softball team fell to Mechanicsburg 11 to 1.

Brielle Milliron went 1-2 with an RBI.

Whitney Strapp, Briley Sullivan, Taylor Cook, Kaylee Blair, and Olivia Reichardt each recorded a hit.

The Tiger defense did not commit a single error.

They travel to Southeastern on Thursday.

 

Riverside traveled to Bethel in TRC action and fell 10-1.

They had their chances to score with loaded the bases up twice, but just couldn’t get the hits we needed.

Taylor Dillon led the offense going 2-4 with a triple, Riley Dillon went 1-2 with an RBI.

The Riverside JV played another outstanding game Tuesday night against the Bethel Bees with a great defense making the final score 11-4.

Emilee Robinson went 4-4 with 3 strong singles bringing in 2 RBIs on the night.

Lilly Zweibel had a hard-hit double also scoring 2 RBIs.

Other contributing hitters on the night include Emma Strayer, Savanah Salo, and Brook Hunkler.

 

The Lady Cheifs beat Jackson Center 18-2.

Pitchers Averie Vigansky and Kassi Prine combined for 8 strikeouts in 5 innings.

Offensively Addison Wical went 3-4 with 2 doubles, Ellie Mitchell went 3-4 with a double, Kassi Prine 3-4, Laila Butler 2-3, and Alexza Clifton added a double.

The Lady Chiefs will play again tomorrow at Urbana.
