The Indian Lake Volleyball team showcased an impressive performance, defeating St. Mary’s in straight sets with scores of 25-22, 25-16, and 25-6.
Cami Bailey led the Lakers with 6 ace serves, 8 kills, and 1 block.
Courtney Altstaetter contributed significantly with 7 kills and 4 blocks, while Kenzie Dixon recorded 5 kills and 15 digs.
Halle Roby also made an impact with 5 kills, 7 digs, and 13 assists.
Alivia Kinney excelled in serving, going 15/15 with 4 aces, and Riley Ross had a solid defensive performance with 13 digs.
The Lakers now hold an impressive overall record of 17-3 and are 7-1 in the CBC.
They will play their next match at home on Wednesday against Northwestern.
In the JV match, the Lakers faced a tough battle, losing 25-18, 17-25, and 23-25.
Ady Oldiges had a standout performance, going 13/13 in serving and 41/41 in setting, while Brynna Avila recorded 4/5 serving and 10/10 serve receive.
The JV Lakers currently stand at 16-4.
In a separate match, the Benjamin Logan Volleyball team took on Lima Temple at home and won in straight sets with scores of 25-8, 25-8, and 25-7.
Skylar Miracle led the way with 14 kills and 2 aces, followed by Kayla Williamson with 12 kills and 2 aces.
Autumn Cline stood out with 26 assists and 3 aces, while Mia Stahler contributed 10 digs and 5 aces.
