Logan County Track and Field Championship results

The Logan County Track and Field Championships were held Tuesday evening at Benjamin Logan High School.

Bellefontaine took the top spot in both the boys and girls divisions.

Girls Team Results:

Indian Lake Girls Highlights:

Addison Beck had one of the meet’s most impressive outings, setting a new school long jump record with a leap of 17 feet, 1 inch, surpassing Jessica Baldwin’s 1996 mark of 16-10.

Beck also won the 200-meter dash in 27.83 seconds and earned runner-up finishes in the 100-meter dash (13.12), high jump (4-8), and long jump (17-1).

Ava Faler contributed valuable points by winning the high jump (4-8), placing third in pole vault (8-0), and finishing fourth in the long jump with a personal-best 16-4.

She also anchored the first-place 4×400 relay team with Reagan Rash, Cameron Finfrock, and Myiah Ankrom, finishing in 4:33.

Indian Lake Boys Highlights:

Gavin Henry led the Lakers, winning the 110-meter hurdles in 15.18 seconds, breaking Paul Bessett’s 1988 school record of 15.3.

He also finished 2nd in the 300 hurdles (43.34), 3rd in high jump (5-4), and helped the 4×100 relay team (Silas Holbrook, Drake Cosby, Noah Shirk) finish 3rd.
