Indian Lake had a challenging night on the court, falling 65‑35 to a strong Versailles team on New Year’s Eve.

Tyler Tidwell led the Lakers with 14 points, keeping the team competitive at times, but Versailles’ defense and fast-paced offense proved tough to overcome.

The junior varsity squad also faced a tough battle, dropping 52‑17 to Versailles.

Rush Hurley contributed 6 points, and the team showed plenty of hustle and determination despite the score.

Indian Lake will host a big day of basketball on Saturday, starting with ILMS Girls Basketball at 10 am vs Anna.

The JV Lady Lakers will take on New Knoxville at 12 pm for just two quarters, followed by the Varsity Girls at 1 pm.

Later, the IL Boys Basketball Teams will square off against Wapak.

The JV Boys game will begin at 4:30, and Varsity will start around 6 pm.
