Saturday, the Indian Lake High School boys soccer team earned a 2-0 victory over Lima Bath in a strong showing on the field.
Scoring for the Chiefs, Avery Pequignot found the back of the net with an assist from Holden Wallace, while Titus Kelly added the second goal, assisted by Pequignot.
Griffin Schaub recorded the shutout in goal, keeping the Bath offense at bay throughout the match.
A key part of the victory was the Chiefs’ defensive unit, consisting of Carson Clary, Cason Lacher, Gary Hutton, Caleb Timms, Max Solomon, Brandon Hutton, and Carter Oakley, whose teamwork and effort helped secure the clean sheet.
With this win, Indian Lake continues to build momentum early in the season.
