Indian Lake Cools West-Liberty Salem; Spartans Fall to Pioneers

Indian Lake defeated West Liberty-Salem at home Saturday night, 60-39.

With a balanced attack, the Lakers took the lead at the end of the first quarter and kept adding to it until the end.

Camdon Tuttle led the Lake with 19 points, followed by Caiden Nicol with 16 and Maddux Hall with 10.

Scoring for the Tigers:

  • Miles Hostetler, 5 points

The JV Lakers also hung on to win 46-41.

Colin Bendler led the Lakers 22 with points.

Indian Lake is back in action on Tuesday night at Tecumseh.

West Liberty-Salem will take on Madison Plains on Tuesday night.

The Varsity Spartans fell to the Lima Temple Christian Pioneers Saturday night by a score of 43-46.

Philip Davie was the highest scorer for the Spartans with 16 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 steals.

Wyatt Schlatter was the 2nd highest scorer with 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals.

Zeeke Wylie added 7 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.

Evan Patton scored 6 points and pulled down 4 rebounds and Luke Gaertner chipped in 4 points and snagged 5 rebounds.

The Spartan’s overall record is 7-4 and 6-0 in the OVCC.

They are back in action Tuesday in Dayton against league opponent Spring Valley Academy.
