The Indian Lake Lady Lakers golf team defeats the Wapakoneta Redskins at the Wapakoneta Country Club Monday evening, 216 to 240.
Leading the way for the Lady Lakers was Alex Kinney with a 47, followed closely by Lily Michael, who shot a 52.
More high school golf action from Monday saw the Benjamin Logan Raider boys fall to the North Union Wildcats 230-162.
Leading the Raider effort with a 55 was Colson Knight.
The Champaign County Invitational also was completed, as schools from the county met at the Urbana Country Club on both the girls’ and boys’ sides.
For the girls, the Graham Lady Falcons claimed the team title with a 215, barely edging out the West Liberty-Salem Lady Tigers who shot a 217. Leading the way for West Liberty-Salem were Geneva Estep, Olivia Reichardt, and Taylor Cook.
Mechanicsburg claimed the tournament’s boys team title. The Indians shot a 320 with Will Reiser finishing as the tournament’s medalist, shooting a 70. West Liberty-Salem followed in second with a 357. Braydon Thompson lead the Tigers with an 85.
Rounding out the order Urbana came in third, Triad finished in fourth, and Graham rounded out in fifth.
