Several area volleyball teams were in action Wednesday night, with Indian Lake and Urbana earning varsity victories while Bellefontaine and Benjamin Logan also competed across multiple levels.
Indian Lake 3, Graham 0 — Varsity
The Indian Lake varsity volleyball team traveled to Graham Wednesday night and swept the Falcons in straight sets, 25-17, 25-17 and 25-12.
Cami Bailey led the Lakers with 10 kills, 12 digs and three aces.
Mackenzie Miller added seven kills, two blocks, six digs and an ace, while Courtney Altstaetter also recorded seven kills.
Madison Davis finished with five kills, one block and an ace.
Addyson Roby directed the Indian Lake offense with 28 assists. She also recorded four kills, eight digs and an ace.
Piper Warnecke added six digs, while Quinn Imm finished with five digs.
JV — Indian Lake 2, Graham 0
The Indian Lake JV team also picked up a straight-set victory over Graham, winning 25-9 and 25-22.
Claire Tidwell led the Lakers with eight kills and four digs.
Piper Robinson and Taylor Duff each added four kills, while Mary Archer finished with three kills.
Lux Kipker recorded 11 assists and five digs, while Layna Nessler added nine assists.
Ayla Brentlinger finished with six digs, while Makayle Clary had five digs.
London 3, Bellefontaine 0 — Varsity
The Bellefontaine Lady Chieftains battled second-seeded London on Senior Night Wednesday but fell in straight sets, 25-21, 25-15 and 25-23.
Alayna Boyd led Bellefontaine with seven kills, eight digs, five assists and two blocks. She also went 10-for-13 on serve receive and 6-for-7 serving.
Jillian Ullom led the defensive effort with 17 digs and went 16-for-16 on serve receive.
Presley Vigansky recorded 17 assists, two aces, two kills, one block and three digs. She also went 20-for-21 serving and 4-for-4 on serve receive.
Ava Layman added six kills, seven digs and a block while going 17-for-17 on serve receive and 7-for-7 serving.
Celine Blinn had four digs and went 14-for-16 on serve receive.
Arianna Rangel contributed four kills, five digs, a block and an assist, while Lexey Brown added three kills, a block, an ace and two digs.
Jazmin Nelson added one kill.
The Lady Chieftains fall to 5-10 and will travel to North Union Monday.
JV — London 2, Bellefontaine 0
The Bellefontaine JV team fell to London 25-12 and 25-18.
Gianna Davis led the Chieftains with four kills, three aces and seven digs.
Ellie Bosilejvac added three kills and two digs, while Rylyn Hoskins-Rose recorded two kills, two blocks and an ace.
Diana Martinez finished with two kills and an assist.
Brookelyn Oaks had five digs and an ace, while Alexis Hogan recorded five assists, three digs and an ace.
Rosie Lightle added six assists, one kill, two digs and two aces.
Ellie Irick had one kill, while Hailey Augustus and Alejandra Meregote each added one dig.
Bellefontaine 7th Grade 2, Shawnee 0
The Bellefontaine seventh-grade volleyball team defeated Shawnee in straight sets, 25-1 and 25-15, improving to 14-1 on the season.
Bexley Daring led the Chieftains with 13 aces and seven digs. She also had one kill and went 23-for-23 serving.
Eliza Blinn added four aces, while Devyn Hogan recorded three kills, two assists and four aces.
Emma Layman finished with four kills, three assists and an ace.
Miley McKirahan added three aces, while Brooklyn Mosley had one kill.
Lariah Valencia contributed four digs.
Shawnee 2, Bellefontaine 1 — 8th Grade
The Bellefontaine eighth-grade team fell to Shawnee in three sets, 23-25, 25-22 and 15-25.
Skylar Phan led the Chieftains with 18 digs and six aces.
Alivia Rogan recorded seven kills, 11 digs and an ace, while Arianna Rumer added 11 digs, three kills, four assists and three aces.
Evie Schmidt finished with 10 digs, six assists and an ace.
Braelynn Neer added five digs, one kill and an ace, while Marissa Oaks contributed seven digs.
Urbana 2, Benjamin Logan 1 — 7th Grade
The Urbana seventh-grade volleyball team defeated Benjamin Logan in three sets, 25-19, 18-25 and 25-17.
Urbana took the opening set before Benjamin Logan answered in the second. The Hillclimbers then closed out the match with a 25-17 victory in the third set.
Urbana 2, Benjamin Logan 0 — 8th Grade
The Urbana eighth-grade team swept Benjamin Logan, 25-13 and 25-19.
The Hillclimbers took control in both sets to complete the straight-set victory.
