Indian Lake Steve Austin’s Auto Group 10U closed out their season to win the Logan County Silver Bracket Championship on Thursday night by defeating DeGraff, 14-6.
Kayla Tracey led the charge with 11 strike outs in the circle. Lilly Groeschel and Caliegh Hamilton-Hoy worked hard and did a great job behind the plate. Preslie Roberts closed out the game in the 5th inning.
Offensively, Caliegh Hamilton-Hoy and Kayla Tracey each had triples with RBIs. Paisley Brenner added to the cause with a double and an RBI. Lilly Groeschel, Melanie Simpson, and Layla Hardesty each added RBI singles. With aggressive base running from all the girls, the Lakers were able to capture key moments on the base paths which led them to the victory.
