BL, Indian Lake Track teams compete in CBC Championships; Lady Chiefs win Division Title

On Friday night, the Benjamin Logan Boys’ Track team competed in the finals of the CBC Mad River Division meet. The Raiders finished second overall to Springfield Shawnee.

The 4 x 200 team of Collin Powell, Davis Matthews, Candin Tucker, and Dylan Vance won a league title with a new division record time of 1:33.05. On Tuesday night, the 4 x 800 relay team of Tyler Shoopman, Owen Jordan, Landon Zehner, and Eric Hughes won the league title with a time of 8:33.80.

The Indian Lake boys and girls track and field teams also competed well on Friday’s finals day of the CBC Championships at Kenton Ridge.
Placing runner-up was Gavin Henry in the 110 m hurdles (15.86), the 4×200 relay team of Quest Clay, Jacob Freyhof, Cameron Freyhof, and Drake Cosby (1:34), and the 4×400 relay team of Silas Holbrook, Bryan Mohler, Jacob Freyhof, and Carson Clary (3:32)

Placing third was Quest Clay in the 100 m dash (11.76), Silas Holbrook in the 400 m (52.1), Gavin Henry in the 300 m hurdles (43.66), Carson Clary in the 800 m run (2:10), and Christopher Timms in the shot put (48-4)

Scoring fourth was Aiden Stinebaugh in the 1600 m run (5:02 PR), and the 4×100 relay of Silas Holbrook, Quest Clay, Drake Cosby, and Gavin Henry (45.47)

Scoring fifth was Cason Lacher in the 1600 m (5:05 PR)

Scoring sixth was Weston Campbell in the 200 m dash (24.39)

The Lakers girls scored 66 points and finished sixth.

Winning events were Reagan Rash in the 800 m run (2:23) and Maddie Miller in discus (120-2).

Placing runner-up was the 4×400 relay of Reagan Rash, Evie Wagner, Cameron Finfrock, and Myiah Ankrom (4:26).

Finishing fourth was Addison Beck in the 100 m dash (13.67) and long jump (16-4.25), and Reagan Rash in the 1600 m (5:37.98).

Finishing fifth was the 4×200 relay team of Addison Beck, Myiah Ankrom, Cameron Finfrock, and Piper Warnecke (1:52).

Finishing sixth was Ava Faler in the long jump (15-11.5).
