It took a last-second bucket from senior Madden Lillard, but the #5 Indian Lake Lakers upset the #2 seed Waynesville Spartans Tuesday night in Northmont, 52-51.
With the Lakers down 51-50 with 1.9 seconds left in the game, Avery Pequignot found Lillard wide open under the basket for an easy layup and the win.
Tyler Tidwell led the Lakers with 14 points.
Pequignot followed with 13.
Sophomore phenom Brodey Reisinger was held to just 8 points, but early foul trouble kept the young leader on the bench much of the second half.
