Indian Lake Wins Against Shawnee; Other Baseball Games Monday Night


Indian Lake won against Shawnee 15-5 on Monday.

The Lakers scored eight runs in the third inning on the way to victory.

Thomas Elliott singled, scoring one run, Madden Lillard drew a walk, scoring one run, Burke Lillard drew a walk, scoring one run, Evan Manley was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Camdon Tuttle drew a walk, scoring one run, Lane Tucci hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run and Thomas Elliott singled, scoring one run.

Lane Tucci earned the win for the Lake.

He surrendered zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out two and walking none.

Thomas Elliott, Maddux Hall, Burke Lillard, and Dawson Finfrock each threw out shutout innings for the Lakers in relief.

Lane Tucci provided pop in the middle of the lineup and led the Lakers with three runs batted in.

The pitcher went one-for-one on the day.

Thomas Elliott went two for three at the plate to lead the Lakers in hits.

Burke Lillard led the Lakers with three walks.

The Lakers Travel to Kenton Ridge for their next game on Tuesday.


Riverside entertained Troy Christian Monday night in league action and came away with a 6-5 win.

The Pirates rallied in the bottom of the 6th after trailing 5-4. Cooper Crouch singled driving in 2 runs to put Riverside ahead 6-5.

Crouch came on in relief and picked up the win on the mound making their 6-5 lead hold up.

Damien Smith tracked down a long drive to deep center with runners on and 2 outs in the 7th to seal the victory for the Pirates.

Riverside moves to 5-9 in league play and 10-9 overall.

The Pirates will play Ben Logan in De Graff on Tuesday afternoon in their season finale.

Riverside will begin tournament play on Monday, May 13th at home as they will host Tri-Village.


Tecumseh shut out Benjamin Logan 9-0.

Jonathan Alder shut down Shawnee 4-0.

Bellefontaine won against Miami East 7-1.

Bethel defeated Graham 7-6.
