The Zanesfield Petanque Club hosted the 10th Annual Ohio Cup on October 10, 2026, bringing teams together for a day of competition.
After three qualifying rounds, the team of Ron Walls and Loren McCumber was the only team to finish with a perfect 3-0 record.
Walls and McCumber advanced to the championship match against Lucy Johns and Justin Bo Johns. Team Johns claimed the tournament title with a 13-5 victory, winning the Ohio Cup for the second consecutive year.
In the third-place match, William Daniels and Sam Plank defeated Larry Niswonger and Mike Epp to secure third place.
The annual Ohio Cup marks a milestone for the Zanesfield Petanque Club, celebrating the tournament’s 10th year.
