JV Lakers top Raiders

The Indian Lake JV Baseball team was victorious at Ben Logan Thursday, 10-7.

The Lakers took the lead in the top of the second inning after Braden Tussing singled to center field, Grant Wickline walked, and the Lakers scored on a wild pitch, each scoring one run.

Wyatt Carter earned the win, giving up zero hits and two runs over three innings, striking out five and walking five.

Brady Golliday pitched three and one-third innings in relief.

The right-handed pitcher allowed three hits and three runs (two earned) while striking out five and walking one.

Golliday and Tussing each collected two hits for the Lakers.

Golliday, Tussing, and Wickline each drove in two runs.

Reed Strayer led Indian Lake with three walks.

Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, amassing 10 walks for the game. Rapp stole three bases.
