The Bellefontaine Lady Chiefs put together a dominant performance Monday night, shutting out the Indian Lake Lady Lakers, 7-0.
Callie Shumaker led the offensive attack with four goals, while Chloe Stolly added two and Ava Watson scored once.
The Chiefs spread the ball well, with assists coming from Watson (3), Sloan Stolly, Shumaker, and Addison Wical.
In goal, Emma Whitaker was strong between the posts, collecting six saves to secure the clean sheet.
The Bellefontaine boys soccer team dropped a 4-1 decision on the road at Indian Lake Monday night.
The Chiefs’ lone goal came early, when Anderson Konz found the back of the net off an assist from Ethan Turner in the 6th minute. But the Lakers responded quickly and kept the pressure on, finding the net three times in the first half and once more in the second to secure the win.
Bellefontaine is now 2-10 overall and 1-6 in CBC play.

The Chiefs are back in action on Wednesday when they host Graham.
The Benjamin Logan boys soccer team earned a 2-0 victory over Urbana Monday night, improving to 10-3-1.
After a scoreless first half, Aidan Todd put the Raiders ahead on a penalty kick after Gavin Jordan was fouled in the box. With eight minutes left, Todd set up Landen Simon for the second goal off a quick free kick.
Coach Hughes said the Raiders weren’t at their best but capitalized when it mattered and credited the defense for posting another shutout.
Benjamin Logan travels to London on Wednesday with a chance to clinch at least a share of the CBC Mad River Division title.
Monday night, the Lady Raiders were defeated by Urbana, 3-1.
The lone goal for the Raiders was scored by Daylin Varner, assisted by Ella Stoodt.
The Raiders will hit the road on Wednesday as they travel to take on London.
