Lady Chiefs dominate at BHS Classic

The Bellefontaine Lady Chiefs rolled to first place out of 13 teams at today’s tournament at TP Lanes. Coldwater finished second. The format featured three regular games and six Baker games, with total pins for the day determining the winners.

Gracie Hood had a standout day, bowling games of 265, 278, and 245 for a 788 series. She broke her own personal 3-game series record and surpassed the State record by 7 pins. Hood was also named to the All-Tournament Team.

Chloe Heminger contributed games of 214, 211, and 160 for a 585 series, earning third place on the All-Tournament Team. Other Lady Chiefs performances included Rylee Anderson (190, 159, 174 = 523), Kodi Palmer, who celebrated her 15th birthday (206, 156, 135 = 497), and Addison Prosser (122, 185, 167 = 474).

The team posted regular game totals of 997, 989, and 881 for a 2,867 total and closed the day with Baker games of 244, 214, 169, 184, and 145 for a 1,145 Baker total. The Lady Chiefs will return to action on January 5th against Graham at Southwest Bowl.

Riverside Boys at BHS Classic

The Riverside boys competed in the annual BHS Classic at TP Lanes, finishing 8th overall. Cooper Crouch led the way with a 709 series, bowling games of 247, 205, and 257 for a second-place individual finish. Stephen Lewis added a 612 series for the team.
