The Lady Raiders track & field team placed 10th in a field of 34 teams in Saturday’s finals of the regional tournament.
The team entered the meet by qualifying from the District Championships with 10 athletes covering 7 of the 17 events in high school track and field.
The Raiders strongly showed in the meet to continue an outstanding season.
The team earned their ninth consecutive CBC championship, a fourth-place finish in the Southwest District meet, and one of their best showings in the regional meet.
Following are the results of the regional finals competition:
- 4×800 relay – 14th place – 10:30.70-Georgia Bates, Lexi Archer, Hadley Boysel, Mylee Boysel
- 100 High Hurdles: 1st place – Isabel Henderson (15.26) – State Qualifier
- 300 low hurdles: 2nd place – Isabel Henderson (44.88) – State Qualifier.
- 800 run: 10th place – Georgia Bates (2:22.48).
- Long Jump: 2nd place – Isabel Henderson (18-04.50 *BL school record) – State Qualifier.
Isabel broke the school record (17-11.25) that she set at the regional finals in 2023.
- Pole Vault: 9th place – Scarlett Elliott (9-06)

Isabel Henderson will compete in the Long jump, 100-meter high hurdles, and 300-meter low hurdles at the OHSAA State Track & Field Championships on Friday, May 31, and Saturday, June 1. The events will be held at Welcome Stadium in Dayton.
