The Bellefontaine Lady Chiefs lost a tough game on Thursday night to North Union, 3-2.
Scoring for the Chiefs were Callie Shumaker and Joy Fogan. Assists were from Callie Shumaker and Sophia Jacobs.
It was a special Senior Night for the Chiefs, marked by energy and emotion, and the ladies rose to the occasion.

The West Liberty-Salem girls’ soccer team traveled to Greenon on Thursday night, defeating them 3-2.
Scoring for the Tigers were Jenna Cline, netting two, and Ellery Wygal, who added the third.
Kaylee Blair had 7 saves in the goal.
The Tigers are 4-6-1 overall and 3-2 in conference play. The Tigers will host Miami East on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. for non-conference play.
The Tiger boys’ varsity soccer team upped its record to 10-2 overall and 3-1 in the OHC with a 2-0 victory over Greenon.
Two first-half goals were all the Tigers needed. Wyatt Longaberger scored the first goal from an Elijah Christison assist. Noah Sarver scored the second goal from a Caleb Ling assist.
Again, the defensive unit and keeper Tucker Searles got the shutout with 3 saves.
The team plays another tough OHC opponent this Saturday in Greenview at home at 7:30 p.m.
