The Bellefontaine High School bowling teams competed against Tecumseh at Victory Lanes in Springfield Thursday night.
The varsity girls were on a roll, finishing with a total score of 2735 to Tecumseh’s 2051.
The Lady Chiefs bowled games of 1015 and 1037 for a total of 2052 before the Baker rounds, where they added 683 points.
Gracie Hood led the charge with a 247 and 214 for a 461 series.
Nevaeh LaFollette followed closely with a 450 series, bowling games of 215 and 235.
Chloe Heminger added a solid 428 series, and Haylee Yelton contributed with a 368 series.
The Lady Chiefs are now 10-1 in the CBC.
The Bellefontaine girls’ next match is Friday against Kenton Ridge at T-P Lanes, and both JV and varsity teams will head to Columbus Square Bowling Palace on Saturday for the Bakers Dozen tournament.
In the JV girls’ match, Bellefontaine defeated Tecumseh with a final score of 1946 to 1885.
Kenzie Bernard led the way for the JV squad, rolling a 326 series with games of 179 and 147.
Addison Prosser added a 307 series, and Kyrah Moon and Shelby Hoffman also contributed with scores of 156 and 147, respectively.
On the boys’ side, the Chiefs came up short, falling to Tecumseh 2690 to 2488.
Alex Moon was the high bowler for the Chiefs, rolling a 469 series with games of 268 and 201.
David Allen added a 188 game, while Colton Wisner and Alex Williams each bowled an 182.
The JV boys emerged victorious in their match, with Brandon Pinkerton rolling a 202.
Eli Stone and Jeffrey Knotts also contributed with games of 170 and 144.
The Chiefs will be back in action Friday at TP Lanes, hosting Kenton Ridge.
