The Lady Chiefs tennis team traveled to Tecumseh for their first conference match of the season on Thursday night, where they were defeated 1-4. Despite the loss, the team showed significant improvement.
Olivia Warye and Kaelynn Saxton delivered the highlight of the evening with a hard-fought three-set victory at 2nd doubles. They overcame their opponents, Wood and Gastineau, with scores of 6-3, 3-6, and 10-5.
