The Bellefontaine girls tennis team fell to Kenton Ridge 4-1 Tuesday.
The Chieftains picked up their lone win in singles play. At first singles, Mia Brown defeated Marshall 6-0, 6-3.
At second singles, Rylee Crabtree fell to Jenkins 3-6, 6-7 (8-10). Olivia Warye also dropped a three-set match to Herzog 4-6, 6-1, 2-6 at third singles.
In doubles play, Vasquez and Bella Barton lost to Sturgell and Holland 4-6, 4-6 at first doubles.
At second doubles, Sophia Pulfer and Arruza fell to Groth and Buckwater 3-6, 2-6.
Bellefontaine will look to bounce back in its next match.
