The Bellefontaine girls bowling team competed Saturday in the Tiger End of Season Tune-Up Tournament at Wayne Webb Lanes in Columbus, taking on a 19-team field on the Sec./Dist. oil pattern — and leaving with the championship trophy.
The Chieftains started slow in their opening regular game but caught fire over the final two, then closed the day with a steady six-game baker set to secure the title on total pins.
