The Indian Lake Lakers hosted Shawnee in a Monday night matchup, but the visiting Braves set the tone early and controlled the pace throughout, handing the Lakers a 38–31 loss.

Shawnee jumped out to an early lead and never relinquished control, using steady offense and disciplined defense to keep Indian Lake from finding a consistent rhythm. The Lakers battled throughout the contest and made several pushes to close the gap, but were unable to overcome the Braves’ strong start.

Carly Strayer led Indian Lake with 11 points, providing a spark on the offensive end. Alivia Kinney followed with six points, while Kennedy Schwaderer and Hailey Smith each contributed four. Rya Pequignot, Courtney Altstaetter, and Bre Wisener also added to the scoring as the Lakers worked to stay within reach.

Despite the loss, Indian Lake showed resilience and will look to build on that effort as they hit the road to face Celina on Saturday, aiming to get back into the win column.
