The Indian Lake Varsity Lakers struggled to keep up with Jonathan Alder on Thursday, falling 14-3 in a non-league matchup.
The Lakers got on the scoreboard early in the top of the first inning thanks to an error by Jonathan Alder.
In the top of the second, Izzi Mackesy singled to left field, helping Indian Lake tie the game at two.
Bre Wisener took the loss in the circle for Indian Lake, pitching three and two-thirds innings, allowing 13 hits and 14 runs (seven earned), striking out seven and walking two.
MacKenzie Miller led the Lakers at the plate, going 2-for-3.
Halle Roby and Izzi Mackesy each contributed one RBI in the game.
